Day 1

OMG!! I got on the scale and I am up to 136.8!!! This is the most I have weighed in over 5 years!! Talk about motivation to cleanse (and get a job to get me out of the house).

So I made quinoa for breakfast, but noticed it wasn't listed as one of the grains on the complex carb meal. I'm having quinoa, carrots, celery, cucumber, and a cooked vegie and olive oil. Lisa, am I doing this right? Hope so.

    Thanks for doing this. What a great way to offer support. That way I dont have to share it with strangers in the grocery store...ie yes I totally overshared as I was grocery shopping today. Just FYI Sunflower is really good and less expensive then Whole Foods.

    I am doing a 14day cleanse. for the first 4 days I will be eating a non fat diet with no gluten, sugar, oils, dairy etc... I also have to have 2 beets a day with a green smoothie drink at two meals. Then I move into the main cleanse where I can only eat specific foods for 6 days. I have been travelling these last two days and eating on the road and not exercising so I feel achy and toxic so I am excited to begin this. Looking forward to sharing!

  2. Carol- I'm so glad you joined. Lisa and I are going for 18 days. It's day one and I am already tired. It will be interesting to see me do my team building tomorrow, class next week and then two classes the week after (while I am fasting). Holy cow-- I hope I can keep the energy up.
