HELP!!!!!!!

Sister Lisa and Sister Carol--
I don't know what is happening to me but my sugar and carb cravings are going through the ROOF. The past 3 nights have been really bad-- eating carmel popcorn, chips. I'm not eating too much-- I just feel like I NEED them. I am feeling a little obsessive about them. It only happens at night. This happened to me when I went to OHI on my 3 week cleanse too. It was like at some point my body just said, "f#$k this-- I need to eat some junk!" Anyway-- phoning in for some support. Any ideas on how I can curb this thing? Is it a vitamin thing? A protein thing (I haven't had protein in a long time).

Day 6- 1/3 of the way there!

So, I am still on this cleanse. I haven't been good about drinking the juices-- so far I haven't had a single one. I'll get on it today. I am down to 131.2. Can you believe it? That's over 6 pounds in 6 days. It makes me think I should do this one day a week. I lost my protein powder this morning. I'm not sure where I put it. So I had my chocolate whole foods soy protein powder-- probably not the greatest. Looking forward to hearing how both of you are doing.

Day 4- No animal protein

I've made it so far. Not too bad at this point. Actually, my body loves eating like this. I don't have any food cravings, I'm not bloated, I have more energy. Why don't I eat like this all the time?? I'm down to 133- so almost 4 pounds lost. Thank God! I'm cheating a little bit today by having warm quinoa and rice milk and berries for breakfast (instead of quinoa and vegies).

Today we also start with juicing 8 oz. So I better start loading up on veggies at the grocery store! 2 cups of veggies PLUS salads? That's a lot of veggies.

Anyway, that's what's going on here. Carol? Lisa? How's it going?

Day 2- How's it going??

What a difference a day makes!! My weight today was 134.6. 2 pounds!! Just shows how much water I was retaining. Ladies--please feel free to start a new post even if I have started one for that day. I am an early bird.

I got a little hungry in the afternoon. Here's what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast:
quinoa, raw veggies, cooked veggies, nuts

Lunch:
Protein drink with berries, banana, walnuts

Snack:
Apple and almonds

Dinner:
Salmon, tons of veggies

Late night:
grapes

Day 1

OMG!! I got on the scale and I am up to 136.8!!! This is the most I have weighed in over 5 years!! Talk about motivation to cleanse (and get a job to get me out of the house).

So I made quinoa for breakfast, but noticed it wasn't listed as one of the grains on the complex carb meal. I'm having quinoa, carrots, celery, cucumber, and a cooked vegie and olive oil. Lisa, am I doing this right? Hope so.
